New Director Appointed for Career Guidance Unit (CGU), EUSL.
Dr. P.Elango has been appointed as the new DirectorofCareer Guidance and Students Counselling Unit of Eastern University, Sri Lanka (EUSL) with effect from 28th September 2016.
Dr. Elango is attached to the Department of Mathematics, Eastern University, Sri Lanka as a Senior Lecturer in Mathematics since April, 2016. Prior to his current position, he was attached to the Faculty of Applied Sciences, South Eastern University of Sri Lanka. Dr. Elango holds B.Sc. (Hons)(EUSL), M.Sc. (Malaya, Malaysia), Ph.D (Macquare, Australia).
He said: "I am happy to be joining as the Director, Career Guidance Unit of Eastern University. I recognise that this is an integral part for the undergraduates in the Eastern University and an exciting task to work with students and employers. I look forward to play a positive role in delivering the Career Guidance activities.”
