Tree Planting Program at EUSL to mark the World Environment Day

A Tree Planting Ceremony was held at the Eastern University, Sri Lanka on 09/06/2022 to mark the World Environment Day with the assistance of the Department of Forest, Batticaloa.
The Vice-Chancellor, Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Dean/ Faculty of Agriculture, Registrar, Bursar of the EUSL, Additional Divisional Forest Officer, Students and many other officials from the Eastern University, Sri Lanka and Department of Forest graced this occasion.
More than a hundred trees including many varieties of local plants were planted on the premises of the Faculty of Agriculture.
Trees were planted with the participation of students and they are requested to maintain the trees planted by them. It is the salient feature of this program.
