A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Eastern University, Sri Lanka, and Brandix Apparel Limited.

On behalf of the University, Vice Chancellor Prof. V.Kanagasingam and Director East - Brandix Apparel Solution Mr. Iswaran Senthil signed the MOU held on 24.02.2023 at the Board Room of the University.

This MOU focused on Provide internship opportunities to the undergraduates, Provide summer jobs to the undergraduates, Provide resource persons for the workshops/seminars/sessions which are organized by the CGU, Provide exposure visit opportunities to the Brandix Apparel Solution Limited sites, Role model visualization, Mentoring by sharing the experiences of professionals of Brandix Apparel Solution Limited and Participate in the Career Fair.

It was further discussed to implement the CSR Projects of the Brandix in collaboration with the University in future and to conduct research activities.

Dr. S.Jeyarajah, Dean - of Commerce & Management, Dr. V.Gunapalasingam, Dean - of Arts and Culture, Prof. S.Arasaretnam Director - of Career Guidance Unit, Mr. A.Pahirathan – Registrar, Mr. Sha Hameed - Senior Manager HR - Mr. Kulasegaram Jeyasankar - Assistant Manager HR, Mr. Kaleel Shameel - Assistant Manager HR of Brandix Essentials Batticaloa were presented in this event.
