Discussion to Develop Action Plan for Internal Institutional Review Recommendations

The Centre for Quality Assurance (CQA) of Eastern University, Sri Lanka, successfully organized a discussion session focused on the development of an Action Plan for the implementation of recommendations from the Internal Institutional Review (IIR) of the Trincomalee Campus. The session took place on 22nd May 2025 at the Boardroom of the Rector’s Office, Trincomalee Campus.

The primary aim of the session was to raise awareness among key Institute stakeholders about the IIR recommendations and to collaboratively identify actionable steps for their effective implementation. Attendees included the Rector, Deans of Faculties, Heads of Departments, members of the Self-Evaluation Report (SER) Writing Team, Administrative Officers, and FQAC Coordinators. 

The event was coordinated by Dr. P. Elango, Director of the Centre for Quality Assurance, who also delivered a presentation on the core methodologies and strategic approaches for executing the review recommendations.

This initiative marks a significant step forward in strengthening the quality assurance mechanisms and institutional development at Trincomalee Campus, aligned with the broader goals of academic excellence and continuous improvement at Eastern University, Sri Lanka.
