The Centre for Quality Assurance (CQA) of Eastern University, Sri Lanka, conducted a Quality Audit of the Bachelor of Siddha Medicine & Surgery study programme offered by the Faculty of Siddha Medicine (FSM) on 01st October 2025 at the Faculty premises.

The purpose of this audit was to ensure that the degree programme meets the standards outlined in the Programme Review Manual and complies with the requirements of the Sri Lanka Qualifications Framework (SLQF).

Prof. P. Elango, Director, Centre for Quality Assurance, reviewed the relevant documents and held discussions with Dr. (Mrs.) Balamanohary Uthayanan, FQAC Coordinator, Dr. K. Vidya Dharshini, Chairman/Faculty Curriculum Development Committee, and Mr. M. N. M. Shakoor, Assistant Registrar of the Faculty. The Dean, Dr. V. Anavarathan, also met with the Director to review and discuss the outcomes of the quality audit.
