The Eastern University of Sri Lanka has been recognized as the 9th best institution in Sri Lanka for international students

StudyAbroadAide, releases annual university rankings, specifically designed for international students and has been recognized by over 150 prestigious institutions worldwide as a reliable resource for international student mobility.

Last September 30, 2024, we released the second edition of Study Abroad Aide's World University Rankings for International Students and we assessed a total of 8,536 institutions worldwide. 

The Eastern University of Sri Lanka has been recognized as the 9th best institution in Sri Lanka for international students in our latest rankings, out of a total of 20 institutions. The country rankings are derived from the World University Rankings, and this achievement highlights your university's exceptional quality and dedication to providing a world-class education.

How We Rank Universities

The World University Rankings take into account both the percentage of the international student population and the institution's academic reputation. These 2 metrics are used to determine the scores of each institution, followed by the ranking process.  You can read more about our methodology through the SAA Ranking Methodology page. 

Note: These rankings differ from our Best Value University Rankings, where separate criteria are used for evaluation. We will distribute individual ranking letters and release the official Best Value University Rankings 2025 list to the public in January 2025.
