Geography Student has been appointed as a Regional ambassador by the Youthmapers chapter USA

Student of the Department of Geography, Eastern University, Sri Lanka, Miss. SAJEEVINI SIVAJOTHY has been appointed as a 2023- 2024 YouthMappers Regional Ambassador by Patricia Solís, Ph.D. Executive Director, Knowledge Exchange for Resilience, Arizona State University USA, Associate Research Professor, School of Geographical Sciences and Urban Planning, CoFounder and Director, YouthMappers.  She will be contributing directly to the sustainability of the YouthMappers network nationally and internationally by mentoring chapter leadership and providing technical training to ensure high quality data contributions to OpenStreetMap. As a regional lead on communications, SAJEEVINI SIVAJOTHY has the unique opportunity and responsibility to elevate students’ voices and their contributions to open mapping for enhancing community resilience.
