Awareness Workshop on Opportunities and Collaborations on Mycology Research was conducted on 19th January 2023 from 02.00 p.m. to 04.00 p.m. all interested Academic Staff members of EUSL in the SDC Hall, EUSL. The Resource persons for this awareness programme are Prof. Samantha C. Karunarathna, Qujing Normal University, China, Prof. Saowaluck Tibpromma, Qujing Normal University, China and Prof. Nalin Wijayawardene, Qujing Normal University, China.

Awareness Sessions on Institutional Review for the Non-Academic Staff Session 3 was conducted on 11th January 2023 from 02.00 p.m. to 04.00 p.m. to all Non-Academic staff in the SDC Hall, EUSL. The Resource person for this awareness programme is Prof. S.Arasaretnam, Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, EUSL.

Awareness Sessions on Institutional Review for the Non-Academic Staff Session 2 was conducted on 10th January 2023 from 10.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. to all Non-Academic staff in the SDC Hall, EUSL. The Resource person for this awareness programme is Dr. N. Rajeshwaran, Department of Commerce, Faculty of Commerce and Management, EUSL.

Awareness Sessions on Institutional Review for the Non-Academic Staff Session 1 was conducted on 09th January 2023 from 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 p.m. to all Non-Academic staff in the SDC Hall, EUSL. The Resource person for this awareness programme is Prof. T. Bhavan, Department of Economics, Faculty of Commerce and Management, EUSL.

The initiation discussion for the counselling programme was conducted on 18th November 2022 from 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 p.m. at the Nalliah Auditorium, EUSL. The Resource person for this workshop is Dr. Judy Ramesh Jeyakumar, Psychiatrist, Base Hospital, Valaichenai. The target group for this workshop are staff who participated in the training programme on "Counselling" at the Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, India and students’ counsellors of the Eastern University, Sri Lanka.

The second session of the Workshop on University Disciplinary Procedures was conducted on 15th November 2022 from 9.00 a.m. to 3.30 p.m. at the SDC Lecture Hall, EUSL. The resource person for this workshop was Dr. A. L. Joufer Sadique, Retired Registrar of the University of Moratuwa and the Member of the Council of the Eastern University, Sri Lanka. The target group for this workshop is all Administrative Staff members of EUSL including Trincomalee Campus and SVIAS and selected non-academic staff members those duties related to the establishment/disciplinary procedures.

Workshop on Improve the Current IT Features was conducted on 02nd November 2022 from 9.00 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. in the Board room, EUSL. The Resource person for this workshop is Dr. Aras Arasilango, Director/CEO, Testenium Limited, 177 Robin Hood Way, London. The target groups for this training programme were all academic staff of EUSL

Workshop on Disciplinary Procedure was conducted on 27th October 2022 from 9.00 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. in the Board room, EUSL. The resource person for this workshop was Mr. S. Shanmugan, Council Member and Retired Registrar for University of Moratuwa and University of Colombo. The target group for this workshop is all Administrative members of EUSL and selected non-academics staff.

Workshop on Consultative session on the use of research and evaluation findings by academia for policymaking was conducted on 14th October 2022 from 09.00 a.m. to 12.00 p.m. in the SDC Hall, EUSL. The resource person for this workshop was M. Thilakarajah, Project Manager and Former Member of the Parliament and Sri Lanka Evaluation Association team. The target group for this workshop is all the heads of the departments.

A two days Transnational Training Programme on Internationalization was conducted by the SDC under the ENACT Project on 15th and 16th September and 11th and 12th October 2022 at the SDC Hall, EUSL. The target groups for this training programme were selected Administrative Staff and Non-Academics Staff of EUSL
