US Embassy Officials Visit EUSL to Review English Language Fellow Program

Eastern University, Sri Lanka (EUSL), hosted officials from the United States Embassy in Colombo on November 6, 2025, to review the progress of the ongoing English Language Fellow Program. This initiative is a close collaboration between the US Embassy and EUSL, dedicated to enhancing the English language skills of the university's undergraduate students.

Courtesy Call to the Vice Chancellor

During their visit, the US Embassy officials made a courtesy call to the Vice Chancellor, Professor P. Peratheepan. The visiting delegation included Dr. Steven Walter, Public Diplomacy Officer, and Ms. Aruni Peiris, English Language Program Coordinator. The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss the program's objectives, initial outcomes, and future direction.
